CHICAGO (April 5, 2017) – Presentations by CBD’s EVP and Executive Creative Director Mary Olivieri, and Director of PR, Social Media and Content Marketing Bob Musinski, will bookend the Social Media Strategies Summit April 26 – 28 in Chicago.

Olivieri will lead a three-hour workshop, “Beat Writer’s Block,” on April 26, a pre-summit training day. She’ll guide attendees through interactive exercises and processes to inspire, transform and accelerate writing so individuals can break through creative dry spells and same-old-same-old thinking.

“Compelling content plays a huge role in social media strategies, including SEO success,” noted Olivieri. “Tactics that help writers get to fresh solutions quickly are always appreciated. This workshop gets people thinking and doing with active participation to encourage out-of-the-box ideation.”

Musinski will lead a session on April 28, “It Pays to be Social:  How B2B Brands are Using Social Media for Sales Success.” Using real-world examples, he’ll discuss how to leverage each platform, such as building engagement with Instagram’s niche B2B audiences, using paid social to develop a prospect database and lead program, and Facebook’s event boosting capabilities.

“Social media is a proven B2B lead generator and sales driver,” Musinski said. “Attendees will see just how successful the channel can be, including with paid campaigns that take advantage of refined targeting and promotional apps.”
