CBD Marketing Names Barb McDonald and Celina Guimaraes to Account Management Positions

CHICAGO (March 22, 2018) – CBD Marketing (CBD) is boosting its management team with the addition of Barb McDonald as Vice President, Group Account Director, and Celina Guimaraes as Account Director.

With more than 20 years of experience, McDonald joins the agency from a similar position at the Chicago office of Gyro. She brings a wealth of knowledge in B2B marketing, including managing national and global building materials, manufacturing, professional services and electronics accounts. These include USG, Grant Thornton, ITW and Samsung. Prior to Gyro, she worked at Havas and FCB Global on financial services, retail, trucking, the U.S. Postal Service and CPG food accounts. Her range of experience across a broad range of industry categories is coupled with her expertise in all phases of integrated marketing planning and execution. McDonald will manage the agency’s account services personnel and is a key member of  CBD’s senior leadership.

Reporting to McDonald, Guimaraes joins CBD from the OgilvyOne office in Cape Town, South Africa, where she headed the agency’s largest account, Audi. She has also worked at global agencies in Indonesia handling Nestle and HSBC, among other accounts, and started her career at Arnold Worldwide in McLean, VA. Her experience includes local, regional and global B2B and B2C brands and businesses. Guimaraes has also served in a client role as marketing manager for SAP. At CBD, Guimaraes leads the Whirlpool Corporation Contract Channel account.
